Committees
Committees are groups of disciples who keep the mission of Christ alive and thriving in the church. Committee members serve a two year term with the option to serve a consecutive second term for a total of four years. They are approved by the church council. Committees meet at least four times per year on the All Committee/Council Nights. If you would like to serve on a committee, please talk to the council rep for that committee or fill out the form below. A current list can be found in the Reflection Newsletter.
Worship
Responsible for planning the worship services of the congregation.
Responsible for helping the members of this congregation grow in their relationship with Jesus through the use of their time, talents and finances that God has entrusted to each person.
Stewardship
Is responsible for the supervision of the Sunday School for ages 3-grade 9, Confirmation, and Vacation Bible School.
Education
Responsible for the maintenance of the buildings and their furnishings and the real estate owned by the congregation.
Property
Strives to stimulate and encourage the spiritual growth and deepen the faith of all, both within and outside of Grove Lake Lutheran Church.
