  • Our Sunday School begins at age 3 and concludes at grade 5.  Sunday School is concurrent with worship, so after the noisy offering is taken, and the children's message is preached, children are released to their Sunday School class.  The Grove Lake Sunday School teachers are well trained and make the gospel come to life!

  • Confirmation is an important time in faith development, as well as time when 6th through 8th graders develop Christian community with one another.  Confirmation is held on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 pm, with one night per month being a fun night for all ages between 6th and 12th grade.  Confirmation also includes youth involvement in worship, and an annual mission or faith development trip.  Other youth events include a ski trip, lock ins, and Valley Fair trips.

  • (Women of the ELCA)

The creed of WELCA is "As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit to support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and promote healing and wholeness in the Church, the society and the world."  WELCA fellowship includes monthly meetings, circle meetings, quilting group, Bazaar preparation, and LOTS of potlucks and good food!

  • The Grove Lake Lutheran Men's Group provides Christian fellowship for all interested men.  They meet on the second Saturday of each month at 8:00 am.

  • A weekly Bible Study is held on Wednesdays at the church, with treats and conversation at 1:00 and Bible Study starting at 2:00.  See monthly calendar for specific dates and times.

  • Service Work Groups help with Funerals, Lenten Coffee, Summer Coffee, Potlucks, Advent Dinner and Benefits.  Groups working at each event will consist of workers from each of the four service groups.  The service group in charge will rotate with the next group in line for each new event.

  • Grove Lake Lutheran Church is committed to the mission of the wider church through ELCA hunger appeals, food shelf fundraising and food drives, monthly serving at Churches United in Moorhead, Feed our Starving Children, quilt, school kit, and layette donations and other opportunities to serve our neighbors.
